Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Bantu Stream Connect ("BSC", "we", "us", "our"), governing your access to and use of the Bantu Stream Connect website, mobile applications, and related services (together, the "Platform").

By creating an account or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use the Platform. By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all registration information you provide is accurate and truthful.

Accounts are for individual use. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account, and for keeping your login credentials secure.

You're responsible for maintaining accurate account information and for any consequences of sharing your login details with someone else.

Deleting Your Account

You can request deletion at any time from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted, along with your personal data and uploaded content, 30 days later. You can cancel the deletion at any time during those 30 days simply by logging back in.

Some records (e.g. transaction history, fraud-prevention logs) may be retained longer where the law requires it - see our Privacy Policy for details.

We May Suspend or Terminate Your Account

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in behavior that harms other users or the Platform, or where required by law.

Bantu Stream Connect hosts content uploaded by creators and content shared by users, including videos, audio, images, comments, and community posts ("User Content"). We operate a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable User Content and abusive behavior.

Prohibited Content & Conduct

You may not upload, post, or transmit User Content that:

• Is illegal, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or sexually exploitative of a minor in any way
• Promotes violence, terrorism, or hatred against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality
• Harasses, bullies, threatens, stalks, or intimidates any person
• Infringes another party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
• Contains malware, spam, or is designed to deceive or defraud other users
• Impersonates any person or entity, or misrepresents your affiliation with a person or entity

Reporting & Blocking

Every piece of content and every creator profile can be reported directly from the Platform. You can also block any user, which immediately hides their content from your feed, search, and recommendations and prevents them from interacting with you. Blocked users can be reviewed and unblocked anytime from Settings.

Enforcement

We review reports and may remove content, issue warnings, suspend accounts, or permanently terminate access for violations of this section, at our discretion and without prior notice where the violation is severe.

If you upload content as a creator, you retain full ownership and copyright of that content. By uploading, you grant Bantu Stream Connect a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, stream, reproduce, and display your content on the Platform, and to use reasonable excerpts of it to promote the Platform (for example, in previews, thumbnails, or marketing materials).

This license ends when you remove the content or delete your account, except where content has already been shared, downloaded, or cached by other users in the ordinary course of using the Platform, or where retention is required for legal or fraud-prevention purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.

You confirm that you own or have the necessary rights to everything you upload, and that it does not infringe any third party's rights.

We respect intellectual property rights and expect creators to do the same. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, you can submit a takedown request through our Copyright Policy page. We investigate all valid submissions and will remove infringing content and, where appropriate, take action against repeat infringers up to and including account termination.

The Platform may allow you to send optional tips to support creators. All payments are processed by secure third-party payment processors; we do not store your full card details. Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

Creator monetization features (including earnings and payouts) are being rolled out progressively. Where available, they will be governed by additional terms presented to creators at the time.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful content uploaded by other users, though we work to enforce the standards in Section 4.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bantu Stream Connect is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including User Content posted by others.

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Johannesburg, South Africa.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect new features, legal requirements, or platform changes. We'll notify you of material changes through in-app notices or email, and update the "Last Updated" date above. Continuing to use the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
